Words could not describe how grateful I am of being blockmates with two very talented people. It’s amazing, actually. Although the three of us have varying fortes (i.e. Rica with music videos, Miko with experimental films and I with advocacy videos), it was rather riveting working on this video. From the pre-production (brainstorming, researching and storyboarding), the production itself (setting up the equipment and the green screen with the help of our super awesome blockmates, actual filming, looking for locations and capturing the light with the reflectors) to the post-production (editing, color correcting, designing the poster), it was truly enjoyable. I loved every moment of it! The making of DYOSA may have sparked the onset of collaborations with Miko and Rica, and I am hoping it will last long. Expect more films to come from us! ;)

Last August 30 and September 1, I helped Cat, Louie, Cheng and Carlos shoot this music video for their Fil project.

I was only able to see the video through Skype, and it was extremely choppy and pixelated. :( Also, we had to shoot the scenes twice because my camera’s battery died on the first day and Cat’s memory card won’t function properly. We found out that the files in the memo card corrupted. It was so depressing. I could still recall the look on our faces. :)) I really feel bad for Cheng since I had to slap him a dozen times because of that. XD Hahaha! Nevertheless, we had fun.
